Mississippi River Water Trail

The Missouri Paddling Coalition is made up of organizations from across the state, as well as groups from neighboring states who share our waterways. Together, we share the goal of promoting conservation and outdoor recreation through paddling.

    Missouri Stream Team provides opportunities for all citizens to get involved in conservation of Missouri’s streams through education, stewardship, and advocacy.

    Missouri River Relief’s mission is to engage individuals and communities along the Missouri River in the exploration, enjoyment, restoration and care of the river through hands-on river cleanups, education programs and recreation.

    The Missouri Whitewater Association is a public organization which exists to encourage the growth of paddling as a beneficial recreational sport and a recognized competitive sport, to teach paddling skills, river safety techniques, first aid, and outfitting, to sponsor river trips and other outdoor activities, and to educate club members and the general public about the sport and about river conservation.

    Missouri Confluence Waterkeeper

    The Missouri Confluence Waterkeeper is a grassroots, citizen-led conservation organization focused on clean water and dedicated to protecting fishable, swimmable, drinkable water for all Missourians.

  • Mississippi River Water Trail Association

    Mississippi River Water Trail Association

    The Mississippi River Water Trail Association works with the US Army Corps of Engineers to oversee 121 miles of nationally recognized water trail on the Mississippi River from Saverton, MO to Saint Louis, MO. The mission of the MRWTA is to provide to the public safety and skills education through big river paddling opportunities in order to facilitate safe river recreation and stewardship throughout the entire Mississippi River basin.

  • Stream Teams United

    Stream Teams United

    Stream Teams United promotes and supports Missouri Stream Teams and Stream Team Associations. We facilitate education of Stream Teams and the general public in order to build an appreciation and knowledge of Missouri stream resources. We support stewardship projects to improve the health of Missouri’s rivers and streams. We advocate for clean water, provide information to Missouri citizens, and serve as a united voice for healthy Missouri waters.

  • James River Basin Partnership

    The James River Basin Partnership (JRBP) is a grassroots, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization working to improve and protect the water quality of the springs, streams, rivers, and lakes in the James River watershed which consists of almost a million acres of land in portions of eight counties.

  • US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 52

    The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the enrolled volunteer component of the US Coast Guard, focusing on recreational boating safety and force multiplier activities in the Springfield Metro Area and Southwest Missouri.

  • Heros On The Water

    Building, Healing Communities Paddle, Fish, Heal Active duty military, veterans, law enforcement officers and first responders and their families.

  • Meramec River Recreation Association

    Meramec River Recreation Association is a group dedicated to the sustainable recreation and development on the lower Meramec River, basin, from Sullivan, Missouri to its confluence with the Mississippi River at Flamm City, Missouri. Established in 1975 by Governor Christopher Bond to take care of the lower Meramec River and its tributaries.
